Polar Plunge at Chetola, Blowing Rock NC Posted on February 1, 2011 by seanb724 Share this:FacebookTwitterEmailLike this:Like Loading... Related
Yeah where WAS the crowd? That was nice of them to hold that polar plunge just for you! 🙂
I’ve found one other video posted so far that shows the crowd:
The only thing I found online stated it started at 10:00, but there was nothing about when to arrive, how long it would last, etc. We were getting 4 kids ready to be gone for the day, so we didn’t get there until about 10:45.
As we drove up and started walking towards the lake, lots of people were leaving, so I figured it was over. I went up to ask the mc about the details so I could go next year, and he said I could do it now.
So I “jumped” at the chance. 🙂
Of course a Florida native would ask “why?” 🙂
Why not? Strangely enough it’s a pretty awesome and exhilarating feeling!
